With this project, I was able to redesign and elaborate upon an existing interpretive diorama which focused on a divergent species of mole on Angel Island. My intention was to consider the unique opportunities and access which are afforded to an artist through participation in a site-based exhibition, and alternate roles an artist might take on, such as a mole, or spy.

This project was created for the exhibition How We Leave And Return: Intersections Of Art And History at the Visitor Center on Angel Island.
