The Italian palindrome "apocopa" means the dropping of a word's final portion in a spoken instance. In this laser-cut vinyl installation, the word "APOCOPA" begins on the left-side wall. As it runs into the corner, it is cut off at its midpoint, the middle of the "C". Then as well, this same initial fragment is reflected onto the opposing right-side wall.
This project was created for the exhibition The Museum Problem at Frutta, Rome.
